La Torre dell'orologio è un bell'esempio  di arredo urbano di altri tempi e di "assemblage" barocco. Incoropa la colonna infame, un tempo collocata al centro della piazza e a cui erano incatenati ed esposti i malfattori.

La Torre civica, che risalirebbe al XII secolo,  è impreziosita da una piccola statua di S. Gennaro, dallo stemma cittadino (tre rose rosse in campo bianco), termina con campaniletto a vela.

The clock tower is a fine example of street furniture from times gone by and a baroque “assemblage”. It incorporates the infamous column, once placed in the center of the square and to which criminals were chained and exposed.

The civic tower, which dates back to the 12th century, is embellished with a small statue of San Gennaro, with the city coat of arms (three red roses on a white field), and ends with a bell tower.
